Kennedy Meadows South

I don’t have service here, and the WiFi is slower than a hiker with full foot blisters. I’m happy to be here, though, since it means I’m back on the trail and feeling well enough to hike after I made the mistake of getting dinner from the Lake Isabella Subway. The only else I’ll say about it is:

  1. I’m glad I bought Imodium in Hemet

  2. I’m glad I brought two pairs of underwear, and

  3. I figured out what the “BM” stands for in Subway’s Italian BMT*

I feel much better after a slow day today, much of which I spent here at the Kennedy Meadows General Store. I have a few things in the writing queue, but so many things are going on here, I can hardly keep my head from spinning. More on that to follow. In the meantime, here’s a picture from Kennedy Meadows:

Unfortunately, the store cat didn’t hold still long enough for a photo

*In the front country, I’m vegetarian, but on occasion when traveling or when I desperately need protein, I get something with meat. To my own detriment, apparently.
