Goodbye, friends

I’m sitting in a Thai restaurant in Seattle, trying without success to stop the busy world from spinning around me. There’s so much to watch out for and to look at, my head spins to keep up.

On the way to dinner, a lady waiting to cross the same street as me told me I’m very handsome. I nearly laughed. I was tired and hungry; I haven’t used deodorant or a comb in two months, and I’m as shaggy as a Sasquatch. Maybe she has a thing for Sasquatch?

I look forward to being on the trail again.

Some of the friends I said goodbye to: Sneaks on the left and 2-gait on the right (Sasquatch on the far right). They’ll get their own post. With luck, I’ll have it up by the time we pass each other, somewhere in Oregon.
